So your MatchGirl and I are cat-sitting for the next two weeks.
This is a bit of a trial run as we have been in the market for a little fuzzball of late. As you know we lost our dear Jarvis the day after we moved into our new home.
It was a very difficult experience. Even though Jarvis was not my cat, and he wasn’t even a little cuddly, I really did care about him and looked forward to getting to know him.
One thing I know about this search is that there will be a process of negotiation and a vetting period. I have strong opinions on pet selection. I go into it with a general idea of what the best cat will be. Your MatchGirl favors a much different “let the pet chose you” style.
