Menu Plan: Week Sixteen

Gentle readers, your MatchGirl and Boyfriend have been pretty good at staying on plan with the menu plan the past couple of weeks. And, as I type this, Boyfriend is making some spare ribs that he found on super sale last week. An Asian-inspired marinade, with ingredients from the fridge, some broccoli and rice and we'll have an amazing dinner.



As we're on a super tight budget, the week ahead's meal plan is really dictated by that.

Monday: bulgar wheat salad with tomatoes, mint & other goodness.

Tuesday: Trader Joe's Dal Makhani  (that we've had in the cupboard fo a bit), dressed up with some chicken breast and rice.

Wednesday: Carbonara - pasta and ingredients we've got in the fridge.

Thursday: kitchen sink fried rice, with stuff we've got around.

Friday: Caprese salad

Saturday: homemade pizzas

Sunday: homemade Mac'n'Cheese (because Boyfriend has been craving it!)
